have always been interested in art, in some form or another and began focusing in that direction from grade school on. I grew up in West Bloomfield, Michigan and throughout high school I took classes in drawing, pottery, jewelry, and painting. During the summers of 1968 and 1969 I attended Birmingham-Bloomfield Art Association and developed my skills in welding and pottery. In 1973, I moved to Traverse City and attended Northwestern Michigan College where I took classes in life drawing, pottery, and oil painting. Presently I am working on both collages and oil painting.
